From Olive Parry:-
WITH all the publicity regarding the transformation of New Brighton and the vast amount of money to be spent, perhaps Wirral Council would consider allocating a little of that money in order to tidy up Mayer Park, Bebington.
It is in a disgraceful state. The area, once called 'The Rose Gardens' is now over run with weeds and coarse grass. Not so, Vale Park, Wallasey, which is in an excellent state, full of beautiful flower beds and well-tended overall.

Bebington
