AS one who is in regular contact with many community groups in New Brighton, I feel sure that the Local Authority and all involved can rely on virtually 100% support for the regeneration plans, including the tremendously exciting Ocean Dome proposal.

Certainly some very important problems affecting local residents have been highlighted in contacts with the community and of course there is some scepticism, but almost everyone wishes wholeheartedly for the plans to succeed.

We must do all we can to bring back prosperity to the area - to create jobs and encourage businesses to thrive. Now is the time to be outward looking and imaginative. This is a unique opportunity.
