FOR art with heart venture out to the Black Sheep Gallery in the Old Stable Yard at Hawarden Gallery.
Director Peter Garbutt recently organised a fund-raising exhibition with proceeds going to the Elleray Park School Nursery in Wallasey. A total of £647 was raised through sales, raffles and donations - and now the school's children, who have special educational needs, are benefiting from new toys and learning aids.
The Gallery is sending out an open invitation to all artists, amateur and professional, to submit work for their selling exhibiton on the theme of 'Transport Through The Ages'.
Run as a competition with cash prizes for the three winners, the work will be on show from June 28 to July 26 before selected highlights move to Ellesmere Port Boat Museum.
If you want to take part, contact the gallery on 01244-535505.
