WHAT features 170 children, seven shows, six Bugsys, three theatre companies, one musical . . . and absolutely no football.

The answer is the Starmakers' Summer Showcase Spectacular, 'Bugsy Malone', in which all three Starmakers Theatre Companies take to the stage at the Paul McCartney auditorium at LIPA, the Liverpool Institute for the Performing Arts, and take it in turns to wow audiences from all over the region.

For the past 17 weeks, over 170 children from throughout Wirral have been hard at work to perfect this tale of gangsters, molls and inimitable hero Bugsy, making this the most ambitious production yet for Damian Gaskin and his Shell/Livewire Award-winning Starmakers.

Each company is performing their own version for two nights, with Starmakers Wallasey appearing on July 5 & 6, Starmakers Birkenhead on July 8 & 9 and Starmakers Liverpool on July 11 & 12.

This is a show NOT to miss - ring Linzi on 647-7114 for your tickets.
