THE Wirral 100 Motor Club's motorcycle race roars into New Brighton promenade on Saturday, for a thrilling days action.
The only real race meeting of its kind in mainland Britain, apart from the Isle of Man TT, the event features over 150 competitors.
Timed practice is from 9am with the main racing from 12 noon.
The race is free for spectators, and car parking is £3. The promenade road will be closed to traffic from 8am until 6pm on Saturday.
Local interest taking part includes Neston's Ian Jones and Wallasey's Scott Davies, both driving Yamaha 250cc's, and the Founds brothers, Chris and Peter from Little Neston in the side car.
At Oulton park, on Saturday, the big vintage car meeting of the season, the Sir Henry Segrave Memorial Race meeting for vintage and post vintage sports and racings cars.
