SUNDAY, August 30, is a BIG day to put in your diary - Liscard Alive '98 - a free music festival in Central Park, Wallasey. Featuring an eight-hour music extravaganza, the show will play host to four UK chart acts, supported by the cream of up-and-coming talent from around the country.
Away from the main stage, the showground will be awash with various stalls, rides and displays and the Barracudas Free Fall Parachute display team will be dropping in.
The event has been organised by the Liscard Community Facilities Complex, in association with Wirral council and local business. It is anticipated that up to 20, 000 people from around the region will attend to dance the day away.
