COUNTDOWN for the Heswall Festival from July 4 to July 11 is ticking away with a programme packed full of events available locally for £1, with a weekend for two in Paris on offer.
The festival, supported by Heswall Chamber of Trade, celebrates the town's past, present and future starting with a big parade of decorated floats on Saturday July 4.
Three young men locally, Paul, Rob and Adam, are working on a special float to reflect the youth theme and have been loaned a lorry by Darlington Haulage.
"We have based our float around a true carnival theme. We want everyone to join us that day. We have also organised a carnival party for 14 to 17-year-olds on the evening of July 4 under the headline Funster Entertainment."
Tickets just £5 on 0802-536 010
