SKODA'S most important new product to date, the highly acclaimed Octavia, pictured, reaches UK shores this month.

The car which has taken Europe by storm, is on sale through Skoda's 220 UK dealers including Wallasey Car Centre. The Octavia takes Skoda into the upper medium size sector for the first time, offering customers an unrivalled package of stylish, well-specified cars and superior build quality at keen prices, with exceptional warranties and a three-year service and maintenance package at no extra cost. The Octavia is a modern family, five-door hatchback, with sleek body lines and an attractive and stylish interior. It is available with three petrol engine variants (1.6 75 bhp, 1.6 101 bhp and 1.8 20V) and a choice of two 1.9-litre TDi diesel engines with either 90 bhp or 110 bhp. There are three trim levels, entry level LX, GLX and the luxurious SLX. All models have engine immobiliser, twin airbags, seat belt pre-tensioners, power steering, adjustable steering column and central locking as standard. Higher specification models feature electric windows (front and rear), onboard computer, ABS and EDL, side airbags, height adjustable seats, alloy wheels and metallic paint as standard.

The Octavia's comes with a three year/ 45,000 mile service and maintenance package at no extra charge. This extensive package includes fair wear and tear replacement parts (except tyres) and all parts and labour costs required to meet manufacturer's service schedules. This complements the 10 year anti-corrosion and three year unlimited mileage warranties and three years AA roadside assistance which includes European cover.
