I MUST express thanks, on behalf of the Rotary Club of West Wirral, to those members of the local community who contributed so generously to the charity collection which the club held outside Tesco Store, Heswall, on December 18 and 19, 1998.
The total money collected this year was a record £1,950, which will form part of the amount which the club distributes among various local charities each year.
We are also grateful to the management and staff at Tesco for their help and co-operation in this charity fund-raising event.
