TRANMERE Rovers face two long away trips on the bounce, starting with the visit to Swindon Town's County Ground tonight (Wednesday) in a Nationwide League Division One fixture.
On Saturday, Tranmere are off to East Anglia to take on promotion hopefuls Ipswich Town.
"The lads have showed tremendous character to come back from that heartbreaking cup defeat by Ipswich," said manager John Aldridge. "Scott Taylor's holding the ball up well, Lee Jones and Andy Parkinson are looking good, Alan Mahon's going on some devastating runs and Liam O'Brien has got his hunger back."
Mr Aldridge would like a victory against Swindon at a ground where he and Tranmere have had anything but good fortune! "I had two goals wiped out when the floodlights went off - I don't know if there was any betting syndicate involved that day!" he quipped.
