COUN Mrs Chris Kevan, Conservative Spokesman for Highways Services, expressed her 'disgust' at Labour's refusal in council to support a Conservative proposal which would have seen a road safety scheme introduced at Thurstaston crossroads.

Mrs Kevan stated: "It's disappointing that Labour have refused to accept that a road safety scheme at this crossroads is a necessity."
