THERE'S a fashion show with a difference on Wirral tomorrow night (Thursday, March 4).
Wirral Green Alliance is staging the event in celebration of Fair Trade Fortnight.
"We spend over £15 billion a year on clothes in the UK alone and how many of us know where they come from or the conditions the workers suffer?" said Jane Hesketh, of Wirral Green Alliance.
The fashion show, at the Williamson Art Gallery, Slatey Road, Birkenhead, will feature volunteer models, Fair Trade clothes and second-clothes from the Alliance's new charity shop in Christ Church Road, Oxton.
It starts at 7.30pm and tickets (50p) are available from the charity shop or Eco Centre.
