RED Noses were the order of the day outside the Houses of Parliament for Ben Chapman, Wirral South MP, and John Ballington, Corporate and Consumer Affairs Director of Persil and Lever Brothers.
Port Sunlight-based Lever Brothers is supporting this Friday's Red Nose Day with the theme 'Stay Red with Persil Colour Care'.
Persil expects to raise £250,000 for Comic Relief by donating money from every Red Nose pack of Persil sold. Mr Chapman is supporting this local company.
Persil has also promised to sponsor Wirral Globe staff who sport a Red Nose and are also raising money for charity.
