WIRRAL Chamber of Commerce and Industry agm is at Hulme Hall, Port Sunlight, on Tuesday afternoon, March 23. It will be a meeting tinged with celebration and sadness.
Lord Leverhulme will be congratulated on his 50th anniversary of the presidency of the Wirral Chamber. Nominations for the board include the Chamber's chief executive Ken Davies and Birkenhead Town Centre Manager Larry Embra and John Reeves as first time nominees.
The Chamber will also mourn the sad loss of vice chairman Cheryl Lewis, the Birkenhead solicitor who died in Egypt while on holiday.
Guest speaker will be 'local boy made good' Nick Reilly, chairman and md of Vauxhall Motors.
