A FEAST of rugby is in store on Sunday when Birkenhead Park stage their popular North of England Schools' Invitation Sevens Tournament.
A total of 40 schools have been accepted for the 10th anniversary of the high profile event which is, in fact, in its 11th year.
Durham School return to defend the Bowring Trophy and beaten finalists Trent College will be looking to go one better. Wirral schools in the line-up will be Birkenhead, St Anselm's, Wirral Grammar and Calday Grange GS.
David Franklin, new President of the English Schools' RFU, is the main guest.
There will be eight groups of five schools for the preliminaries starting at 10am at the Upper Park, the Birkenhead School fields and St Anselm's School fields. All the later matches will be at the Birkenhead Park ground.
