THREE teachers from Calday Grange Grammar School will be visiting China during the Easter holiday in order to set up a school exchange link.
Headmaster Nigel Briers said: "The school introduced the teaching of Mandarin Chinese to a group of boys in Year 7 in September and we hope to continue to offer the course to future pupils. We hope that a regular link with, and a future visit to, a Chinese school will be a major source of motivation for the boys."
STEPHEN Hesford, MP for Wirral West, presented the prizes at the Merseyside St John Ambulance First Aid competition on Sunday.
CALDAY Grange won the RAF Careers North West Youth Hockey Cup under-16s final at Oxton Hockey Club. Calday now go through to the national quarter-finals on March 14.
