MOTHER of two Margaret Winter, of Parkgate, will be running the London Marathon for Sport Aid. Margaret, 36, who belongs to Thornton Hall Country Health Club has been raising money for St John's Hospice while training.

WIRRAL South MP Ben Chapman raised the issue of vandalism of churches in Parliament. Mr Chapman highlighted the problems faced in Heswall where grave stones and church interiors have been vandalised.
A-LEVEL politics students from Neston County High School arranged a trip of a lifetime to Downing Street and the Houses of Parliament. The group were met by Labour stalwart Dennis Skinner at St Stephen's Gate and shown around the inner sanctum of the Palace of Westminster.
