BIRKENHEAD man John Frederick Allan, aged 47, made a second appearance before Wirral magistrates on Friday charged with the murder of Wirral solicitor Cheryl Lewis at Luxor, Egypt, last October.
There was no application for bail and Allan, of Woodbank Park, Oxton, was remanded in custody until April 1 with committal on April 15.
Allan also faces further allegations of theft of jewellery worth £6,000 belonging to the estate of Ms Lewis, theft of a £15,799 Mercedes car belonging to her company and theft of a £26,800 BMW car owned by Gillian Cain-Jones.
