TRADERS in Moreton meet next week to promote the area. Moreton Traders' meeting will be on Wednesday, March 24, at 6.30pm in Moreton Community Centre.
Moreton councillors Mick Groves and Ann McLachlan, with Mayor Margaret Green, ask as many traders as possible to attend.
NEW Brighton and Wallasey beaches have just been awarded Seaside Awards by the Tidy Britain Group.
HALF-an-acre of land which forms part of the RSPCA animal centre in Cross Lane, may be sold-off. The land is surplus with the rebuilding of the centre.

DEPUTY Mayor Coun Hugh Lloyd, from Wallasey, is helping organise a 60th memorial service at Birkenhead Priory on June 5, to commemorate the sinking of the submarine Thetis.
