From T. Noonan:-
THE 'line' between L44 and L45 'jinks' some 13 roads beside and behind Belvidere Playing Fields, thus placing those residents so enclosed in L44 rather than L45. I maintain that the 'line' should continue logically along Wallasey Road.
If my postcode was L45 I would be paying some £25 per year less on my car insurance. I checked this out by using the postcode of my bank, which is L45, even though it, and another one, is on the L44 side of the 'line'.
The Royal Mail have stated to me in writing that they " . . . are unable to influence the use made of the postcode by other organisations".
How about a campaign on the insurance companies as this is not just about being ripped off. I was actually refused insurance from one company for house and contents because of living in L44.
