MANY have said: "If we leave Merseyside for Cheshire again, we will lose out." From what my local councillor has told me, I doubt this very much.
I have met many from the Liverpool side who now live in Wirral. Not a single one has expressed a desire to retreat to their origins.
My own view? Pardon me if I grin like the famous Cheshire Cat.
