THOUSANDS of motor cyclists will again be doing the annual Easter Egg Run to Arrowe Park Hospital children's wards.

The largest motor cycle run of its kind in Europe will leave the Fort Perch Rock area at New Brighton for the hospital at 10.30am, on Sunday, March 28.

Police advise motorists to avoid the route, starting New Brighton promenade at 11 a.m., through Harrison Drive into Leasowe Road.

The egg run then goes along Pasture Road through Moreton Cross into Hoylake Road towards Hoylake and Birkenhead Road, Market Street, Meols Drive to West Kirby Councourse.

Then it is into Column Road through Telegraph Road, Heswall Village, Pensby Road, along Arrowe Park Road to the hospital. The motorcyclists will be escorted by police and the route is expected to be clear by 1 p.m. Motorists are advised to avoid the route.
