CARLSBERG WEST CHESHIRE LEAGUE ROUND-UP by Ray Condliffe

STORK completed a double cup KO when they defeated Carlsberg West Cheshire League Premier Division leaders Cammell Laird in the Wirral Senior Cup semi-finals.

Conquerors of Lairds in the Cheshire Amateur Cup, Stork won on penalties. Lairds 'keeper Ian Dolan missed a vital spot kick. Stork meet Heswall (Julian Pepper, 2, Steve Cross), 3-1 victors of Poulton Victoria, in the final at Prenton Park in May. Harry Wiggins replied.
