TWO South Wirral men have been disqualified as company directors.
Mark Douglas Brady, of Yew Tree House, The Woodlands, Welsh Road, Childer Thornton, and Russell Jones, of Northbury Road, Great Sutton, were banned for six years in Manchester Country Court in respect of their conduct as directors of Scarpchester Ltd.
The pair started trading as glazing contractors from premises at 41 Canal Bridge Enterprise Centre, Meadow Lane, Ellesmere Port, in November 1993. The company had gone into voluntary liquidation with an estimated deficiency regards creditors of £91, 834.
The court heard that both men had allowed Scarpchester to begin a similar business with only minor changes to that of a previous unsuccessful company, Westland Conservatories and Windows.
