EX-LABOUR councillor Paul O'Connor has been sent for Crown Court trial by Wirral magistrates on deception allegations.
O'Connor, aged 34, of Percy Road, Seacombe, has been bailed to appear for plea and direction before a judge on April 29.
Additional charges have been levelled against him. He now faces a total of 13 allegations of obtaining cash by deception by false representations in his role as councillor and one attempted deception.
They are said to have occurred in 1997 and 1998 and involve £420 belonging to church organisations and individuals.
