WIRRAL goes to the polls tomorrow (Thursday) in an election which could see any of the three major parties end up with the biggest share of seats.
At the moment the council is made up of 39 Labour, 17 Conservative and ten Liberal Democrat councillors.
If Labour were to win all 22 seats up for grabs this year their majority would be increased to 30 with 48 seats to the Conservative's 11 and Lib Dem's seven.
A Conservative clean sweep would leave no party in over all control, but the Conservatives would have the largest number of seats with 33, Labour would be left with 26 and Lib Dems again seven.
A Liberal Democrat victory in all the wards would put them as the major power with 29 seats, Labour with 26 and the Tories would hold the balance of power with 11.
