MORE than £2,000 was raised for Cancer Research UK with a charity fight night organised by one of Wirral's - and Britain's - top martial arts experts.
Lee Charles put the amazing night together after his nan, Lillian Charles, died of cancer earlier this year. The evening was also in memory of Lee's uncle and godfather and fiance's uncle, John Wakeman, who lost their battle against the same disease.
The Kickboxing Charity Fight Night for Cancer was held at the Laird Sports and Social Club, Rock Ferry. Sponsors of the event were l firm Birchen House Group
