A SUPERMARKET in Wirral has introduced a preacher into its aisles.
Alongside the day's special offers, shoppers at ASDA in Bromborough will be able to hear the word of God from the store's in-house chaplain.
Reverend David Hughes will field questions and give advice to shoppers when he is in the store on Thursday nights.
David hopes that by offering a listening ear he will be able to help troubled consumers.
He said: "I've already spoken to a few people in the last couple of weeks. We talk about general things. I don't try to push the church onto them.
"Everything is on a purely informal basis, there are no sermons. It's basically just a chaplain service, talking to folk and being a ready listener."
Reverend David Hughes will be attending ASDA Bromborough every Thusday between 6pm and 7pm.
