I AND my family do not want New Brighton to be turned into a concrete desert.
We like riding our bikes along the cycle paths. We like the open aspect, the green dips and the 'red and yellow noses'. We like the Floral Pavilion and its gardens. We like the model boating lake and the marine lake. We like seeing the river and the sunsets. We like being able to cross the road. We would like the litter that builds up on the marine lake to be cleared regularly. We would like toilets to be available and kept clean. We would like our councillors to listen to consituents.
It's not just about "saving a marine lake" - it's about New Brighton's identity. Councillors, planners, please don't walk all over us!
