JAN McGrann is happy to admit that she cannot sing and is appearing on national television in a bid to do something about it.
Next month Jan, who works as a secretary for Atherton & Partners merchant engineers and publishers in Birkenhead, will appear on BBC television show 'Can't Sing Singers' on November 12 - to prove this and get a singing lesson or two.
Jan, who has been attending weekend singing lessons at the Liverpool Institute Of Performing Arts and can be heard on Radio Merseyside tomorrow, Thursday October 26, told the Globe: "I'm really only doing this so that I can be taught to sing.
She added: "I went for an audition in London and David Grant and Cary Grant, the judges of 'Fame Academy' were there."
