A HAUL of cannabis and a canister of tear gas have been seized from a Wirral home.
Police officers from Birkenhead recovered a large quantity of the drug, which was packaged ready for sale, and a CS gas canister from a house in Rock Ferry.
Three teenage boys, two aged 16 and one 17, were arrested for possession of cannabis and were cautioned for the offence.
Another man, aged 33, was also arrested for possession of a controlled drug with intent to supply and possession of teargas.
He has been bailed pending further enquiries.
Neighbourhood Inspector Simon Irving said: "Merseyside Police will never be complacent about drug activity and we are determined to break the link between drugs and crime. We are pleased that members of the communities are providing us with information about such activity in their area which we can act upon immediately and make arrests.
"Whenever we are conducting operations to disrupt drugs in the area, local residents will know immediately as we have commissioned notice boards with messages on the front to let local residents know what we are doing."
Anyone with any information about drugs or drug dealing can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
