A REWARD is being offered for information leading to the whereabouts of a Wirral woman who disappeared more than six months ago.
Police and Crimestoppers have issued the reward for information on Chantel Taylor who has been missing from home in Newling Street, Birkenhead, since March.
Friends and relatives have become increasingly concerned for Chantel's welfare. They say her disappearance is extremely out of character.
Her mother and father Jean and Tony Taylor are hoping that the offer of a reward will help to jog people's memories about when and where they last saw Chantel.
Detective chief inspector Bill McWilliam said: "We would appeal to anyone who knows Chantel or who may have seen her to contact us as a matter of utmost urgency.
"Her family and friends cannot rest until they know where she is and we would ask people to cast their minds back to March and give us any information no matter how small they think it is."
q Anyone who knows of Chantel's whereabouts should contact police on 0151 777 2260 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
