The game was a classic end-to-end encounter with the lead changing hands with every blink of an eye.
Tom Hughes was on target yet again for Wanderers with Mike Byrne and a fine double strike from Will Baxter giving Wanderers a slight edge going into the second leg.
Clash of the day was in Division One as Beechwood Social met arch rivals Abbotsford - and won 4-2, thanks to a stunning hat-trick from prolific striker Danny Edwards. Tommy Byrne completed the scoring. Beechwood now lead the table.
