LINGHAMS book shop in Heswall is hosting its last event of the year with a special festive offering for food fans.
Chef and television presenter Matt Tebbutt will be appearing alongside food writer and son of Queen Camilla, Tom Parker Bowles, with the pair both talking about their new books.
Matt owned the Foxhunter Inn in Monmouthshire for over 13 years, devising and cooking iconic dishes and in Matt Tebbutt’s Pub Food, he shares his recipes for dishes including Tartiflette, Seafood Stew and Poached Cherry Pavlova, and elevates classics with his own signature twists, such as Rump of Lamb with Spiced Aubergine, Mint Yoghurt and Flatbreads, Braised Beef Rib Curry, and Baked Apples with Calvados Custard.
Spanning over 150 years of royal cuisine, Tom's latest book, Cooking and the Crown, combines gastronomy and history to hugely enjoyable effect and showcases recipes both lavish and intimate.
