A COLLECTION of apartments in West Kirby will host a number of Christmas events.

Coronation Lodge is inviting people to join its owners for the celebrations throughout December.

The events will provide an opportunity for people to learn more about the Churchill Living lifestyle, while enjoying the festive atmosphere.

Churchill Living said: "Almost 1.5m older people feel more lonely at Christmas than at any other time of year, so there is no better time to experience the sense of community, friendship and fun that Churchill has to offer."

The festivities will begin with an afternoon of Christmas carols on December 5, from 2pm, performed by pupils from West Kirby Primary School.

The celebrations will continue with a seasonal soiree on December 12, from 4pm to 7pm.

This friendly evening will feature fizz and nibbles, providing a perfect chance to mingle with the apartment owners and learn about the Churchill Living offerings.

Churchill has also offered to cover the cost of visitors' taxi rides home, subject to conditions, for those who wish to enjoy a yuletide drink at the soiree.

The lodge consists of stylish and energy-efficient one- and two-bedroom apartments, designed with the over 60s in mind.

Each unit includes a sociable owners' lounge, a guest suite for visiting friends and family, a lodge manager, and a 24-hour emergency careline service.

Bernadette Hennelly, marketing manager for Churchill Living’s Central division, said: "We are thrilled to be welcoming visitors to Coronation Lodge for a series of festive events.

"Christmas is a great time at any Churchill Living Lodge, with the community spirit we’ve fostered really bringing a great atmosphere to our events that visitors and owners alike can enjoy.

"We expect these events to prove popular so do get in touch and confirm your attendance."
