DETECTIVES investigating an incident of racial abuse at a Wirral shop have issued CCTV images of a man who they believe could help enquiries.
Just before 8.55am on October 18, a man walked into the shop on Borough Road and shouted racial abuse at a member of staff before leaving.
Merseyside Police say the same man came back just before 2.35pm shouting racist slurs before exposing himself and leaving the shop again.
CCTV images show a man who could hold 'vital' information that could assist enquiries into these incidents.
Constable Bev Draper said: "Nobody should be subject to such hateful abuse as they go about their business, trying to earn a living.
"The threatening and aggressive behaviour shown by the offender has no place in Merseyside, and we are determined to bring the offender to justice.
"We deal with any such reports with compassion and sensitivity, acting on all information to bring offenders to justice and encourage anyone who has been a victim of hate crime to contact us.
"If you are the man pictured or recognise him, please contact us."
