WORK to repair a burst water pipe in Wirral is underway.
Engineers from United Utilities are at the scene on Burdett Avenue in Spital, following reports of no water and poor pressure which is said to have 'affected the CH63 area'.
A spokesperson for United Utilities told the Globe: "Engineers are currently on scene at a pipe leak on Burdett Avenue, Wirral which has affected the CH63 postcode area.
"This means that some properties may have no water, or low water pressure, and we are working hard to get the issue resolved as soon as possible.
“People living in the area should have received a text message from United Utilities telling them about the leak, and we will provide further updates this way.
"We are working as quickly as we can to fix the problem and thank you for your patience”
