A WIRRAL man has been charged with theft after a suspected shoplifting incident in a supermarket.
At around 3.10pm on Saturday, November 23 off duty officers detained a suspected shoplifter at Morrisons on King’s Parade in New Brighton after security staff had raised concerns.
David Wilkinson, 47, of Whetstone Lane, Tranmere was arrested and has now been charged with theft from a shop, assault by beating and possession of cannabis
Wilkinson appeared today (Monday, November 25) at Wirral Adult Remand Court.
