A MOTORIST was taken to hospital with 'minor injuries' after a hit and run incident in Wallasey.
At around 5.20pm on Monday (November 18), it was reported to police that a car, believed to be a white Vauxhall Crossland, hit the open door of a parked car on Warren Drive.
The collision caused minor injuries to the driver of the parked car; a woman in her 30s, and she needed hospital treatment. She has since been discharged.
The driver of the Vauxhall failed to stop at the scene and enquiries are ongoing to find them.
Inspector Carl McNulty from our Roads Policing team said: "To fail to stop at the scene of a collision is completely unacceptable and enquiries are ongoing to find the person responsible.
“This incident caused minor injuries to a woman but could have been much worse. If you witnessed this incident or have any information at all, please come forward.”
If you have any information, you can call 101 or DM @MerPolCC on social media, quoting log number 706 of 18th November.
