WIRRAL woke up to snow this morning (Tuesday, November 19) as the first winter cold snap arrived.

The Met Office issued the borough with a yellow weather warning yesterday (Monday, November 18) and said that a spell of snow was expected overnight and this morning.

Wirral residents woke up to some wonderous sights as a light layer of snow coated the borough.
