A FREE four-day Christmas festival is set to take place in Liscard.
The Christmas Magic Festival will take place from November 28 to December 1.
During the festival, the town centre will be filled with music, dance, light displays, art, food, market stalls, a fairground, and attractions.
Some of the attractions include Taylor Swift installations from Liverpool’s Taylor Town exhibition.
People will also have the chance to win £500 worth of Christmas goodies.
To enter the prize draw, people need to claim a free ticket from Eventbrite and post it in the big post box in the North Pole Tent situated by McDonald’s between November 28 and December 1.
The festival will begin at 10am on November 28.
Dance schools and drummers will perform inside the Cherry Tree Centre alongside a 'Sound and Vision' light display outside McDonald's.
There will also be a Christmas light switch-on hosted by Great British Bake Off star Lizzy Acker.
Throughout the festival, there will be Taylor Swift installations from Liverpool’s Taylor Town, including giant lips, a sofa, and a piano.
There will also be a giant Christmas sleigh and food and market stalls.
On November 29, there will be live music on Liscard Way.
On November 30, Bluey and the Christmas Elves, mascots, and baby dinosaurs will entertain outside McDonald’s.
A Taylor Swift tribute will perform in the mini Taylor Town exhibition, and there will be an indoor market in the Cherry Tree Centre.
On December 1, events will take place inside the Cherry Tree Centre, including a choir, interactive dance events, dance and kung fu demonstrations, Santa’s Silly Bingo, and various other activities.
The project is funded by the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF), with the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority as the lead authority.
It is part of a collective effort to restore community spirit and regenerate Liscard.
Equilibrium North West's Sharon Munroe said: "We’re really excited about hosting this amazing four day event.
"There’ll be so much going on and something for all the family.
"Our aim for this and future projects is to bring people together, boost community spirit and help people make happy memories."
