MEET our dog of the week, Clyde, a 'gorgeous bundle of energy' who is looking for a forever home.
The one-year-old Border Collie Cross is currently being looked after at by the team at Dogs Trust Merseyside, who are helping the youngster come to terms with life.
Clyde has now settled in a quieter part of the charity grounds, but staff at the centre are hopeful that he will find a new home soon.
He is described as a bundle of energy and would happily settle in with an active family which includes children of high school age.
Georgina Lowery, Manager, said: "We don’t think Clyde has had much socialisation as he is only just getting used to being around other dogs and getting used to being walked on a lead, but he is full of typical Border Collie potential and will bring lots of fun and laughter to his new family.
"It would be best for Clyde to be the only dog in the home so he can settle in quickly and the team say he’d probably prefer to be walked in quieter areas until he has built his confidence."
He is said ro greet every day 'with a very waggy tail, loves saying hello to people and adores playing with his toys'.
As he is young, it is thought he will benefit from a family who are happy to do further fun training with him so he can become the best he can be.
