EMERGENCY services were called after a car crashed into the front of a doctor’s surgery in Heswall.

At around 11.20am today (Tuesday, November 12) Merseyside Police, Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service and North West Ambulance Service received a report that a car had hit the front of Heswall and Pensby Group Practice on Telegraph Road in Heswall.

The driver of the car was found conscious and no serious injuries were reported.

A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said: “We received a report that a car had collided with Heswall and Pensby Group Practice, on Telegraph Road, in Heswall, earlier today, Tuesday 12 November.

“The incident was reported at around 11.20am and emergency services attended the scene. There were no serious injuries and there are no structural concerns regarding the building.”

A Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service was in attendance at an incident on Telegraph Road, Heswall, earlier today (Tuesday, 12 November).

“Crews were alerted at 11.25am and two fire engines were on scene shortly after.   

“On arrival, firefighters found a vehicle on all four wheels which had collided with the front part of a building. The sole occupant of the vehicle, who was conscious and breathing, was out prior to Fire Service arrival.

“Merseyside Police and North West Ambulance Service were already in attendance and MFRS assisted in making the scene safe. Crews left the scene at 12.18pm.”
