A MAN was left with a fractured face after he was punched in a bar in Liverpool city centre.
At around 11.50pm on Friday October 18 a 29-year-old man was in the Remeniss bar on Mathew Street when he was punched in the face by another man suffering fractures to his cheek and nose.
An investigation is underway and CCTV and witness enquiries are being ccarried out.
Merseyside Police have also issued CCTV images of a man they want to trace who they believe could assist with our investigation.
Detective Inspector Neil Dillon said: “This was a nasty and unprovoked assault on a man who suffered significant injuries to his face.
“I would appeal to anyone who was in the Remeniss bar on the evening of 18 October who witnessed anything or anyone who recognises the man pictured to contact us as a matter of urgency.”
