A fireworks display organised by West Kirby Sailing Club raised more than £4,500 for the local RNLI station.
Hundreds of people attended the event, described by its organisers as 'a spectacular', at West Kirby Sailing Club (WKSC) last Saturday (November 2).
The event brought together local residents, RNLI crews and sailing club members resulting in a fantastic evening that highlighted the incredible support of the community.
West Kirby and Hoylake Lifeboat Station crews out in force leading fundraising efforts, and thanks to the generosity of people who attended and the dedicated efforts of WKSC, an incredible £4,579.88 was raised to support the RNLI’s mission of saving lives at sea along our coastline.
These funds will directly contribute to the essential work of West Kirby RNLI Station, ensuring crews have the resources they need to respond quickly and effectively to emergencies at sea.
