GLOBE readers have posted messages of condolence after a cyclist was killed in a crash in Seacombe.
Emergency services including Merseyside Police, Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service and North West Ambulance Service were called at around 7.35am on Tuesday (October 29) to reports of a collision involving a HGV truck and a cyclist at Tower Road and Birkenhead Road roundabout.
The cyclist, a 25-year-old named on social media as 'Brandon', was pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation is underway to establish the circumstances leading up to tragedy.

Ian Ball commented: "It’s a badly designed dangerous road that is used by HGVs getting to the 12 Quays ferry terminal not to mention cyclists and other road users.
"My heart goes out to the family and friends of the deceased and not to forget the HGV driver who will also be psychologically affected by what’s happened."

The driver of the HGV involved in the crash stopped at the scene following the incident.
A 36-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless/inconsiderate driving.
He is still in police custody to be questioned.
Police are appealing for any witnesses, CCTV and dash camera footage which may assist the investigation.
Detective Sergeant Andy Roper, Lead Investigating Officer for the MATRIX Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “Our thoughts and condolences are with the family of the man who has sadly lost his life following a road collision today.
“The family are being supported by our specially trained liaison officers, and we have launched an investigation into his death.
“I urge anyone who witnessed or has information on this incident to please contact us.
“Alternatively, if you were driving in the vicinity, I ask that you please check your dashcam footage for anything that have captured something which will assist in the investigation the incident.
“Every piece information or footage could be vital in establishing what happened and provide his family with answers."
