ALL Wirral train services are at a stand this morning (Saturday, October 26) after a person has been struck by a train.
Merseytravel and Merseyrail announced on social media platform, X, that due to an emergency switch-off at Lime Street services on the Wirral line are currently at a stand.
Wirral lines are currently disrupted including West Kirby and New Brighton services which will start and terminate at Birkenhead North.
Chester and Ellesmere Port will also start and terminate at Birkenhead Centre.

A Merseyrail spokesperson said: "Due to a person being struck by a train at Lime Street, services on the Wirral Line are disrupted. West Kirby & New Brighton services will start and terminate at Birkenhead North. Chester & Ellesmere Port will start and terminate at Birkenhead Central."
Rail replacement buses are being organised to run between Moorfields and Birkenhead North and Birkenhead Central.
Arriva ticket acceptance is available for passengers travelling between Birkenhead and Liverpool.
