A FLOOD warning has been issued across parts of the Wirral coastline tonight and tomorrow morning.
A high tide is forecast for tomorrow morning (Monday, October 21) and as a result flooding is possible from 2am in New Brighton.
Areas most at risk include Marine Point Leisure and Retail Park and properties on King's Parade and Marine Promenade.
A spokesperson from the Environment Agency said: "Our incident rooms are on standby and we are closely monitoring the situation.
"Please be careful along beaches, promenades, coastal footpaths and roads as large waves and sea spray could be dangerous."
There are also warnings of possible flooding at low lying lands and roads in Wirral from 2.15am, peaking around 2.45am.
Areas said to be at risk are Parkgate, Neston and Puddington, continuing to Blacon and Saltney.
Flooding is also possible at low lying land and roads from Hilbre Island and along the coast from West Kirby to Heswall.
Other areas at risk are land at the head of the Wirral from Hoylake to New Brighton and including parts of Leasowe and Wallasey.
