TARIFA - Gateway to Africa is the subject of Paul Hill's illustrated talk to Wirral Bird Club this Thursday (October 24).

Taking place at St Bridget’s Church Centre on Church Road in West Kirby, it starts at 7.30 pm.

Beauty & Beast

WEST Kirby Musical Theatre Company’s latest show - Disney’s Beauty and the Beast - The Broadway Musical - is at the Gladstone Theatre in Port Sunlight from November 6 to 9.

It is about Belle, who is held captive by the ‘fearsome’ Beast in his castle. As friendship grows between them and love blossoms, the ‘most amazing’ event begin to unfold.

WALLASEY Village Library and Community Centre is holding a book sale to raise money for new books on Saturday, November 2 from 10am-1pm.

Christmas craft

A Christmas Wreath-making event will be held at St Anselm's College in Birkenhead on Thursday, November 28.

Taking place in the main hall, it starts at 6.30pm. On the night there will be a wreath-making  demonstration, raffle and live music. The bar will be open and a competition for the best wreath
