CONCERNS of residents were answered by Justin Madders MP when he paid a visit to an Extra Care housing scheme in Ellesmere Port.
Hartley Place on Summer Close, off Sutton Way, provides older residents with their own self-contained homes in a communal development, where 24 hour support services and flexible care packages are available from a care provider, if required.
The facility offers 60 one and two bedroom rented apartments each with a level-access wet room, lounge and kitchen.
All apartments are fitted with a safety alarm system for peace of mind and added security.
Residents can benefit from the communal facilities including a bistro, hairdressers and lounge area as well as a full programme of activities and events.
Topics raised with Mr Madders, MP for Ellesmere Port and Bromborough, included energy costs, Pension Credits and the services provided by Magenta Living, which operates the homes complex.
A spokesperson for Magenta Living said: “We knew customers at Hartley Place would be keen to share their thoughts with Justin.
“As part of our Road to 2030 strategic vision and plan, our vision is to open doors and create a world full of possibilities.
"Connecting with customers on what matters to them, whether it’s through our feedback surveys or chatting over a cup of tea and a biscuit, we ensure we provide all opportunities for our customers to feel involved and engaged.”
